Mike told me the other day that David Byrne, the love of my life, is going to be talking at the ICA on October 10th. I heard that and was immediately a little bit sad that I'm going to be at the wonderful Open Engagement conference in Regina, SK. Organized by the lovely (only via email as of yet) Jen Delos Reyes....Amber, Josh, Charlie and I will be talking about OS and hanging out with Harrell Fletcher. Amber is happy because they asked us to bring our own plate, cup, etc. so as to cut down on waste. Amber hates to travel and have things to throw away...
I'm just going to watch True Stories eighteen times in a row to make up for hearing him talk. And then, when I am on the plane to SK, I'll listen to the Big Country (my favorite plane song) on repeat the whole way.
